There are a lot of men out there who think that providing for their family financially is all they have to do. These men act incompetent when caring for their children and force their wives to do all the housework, like in the 1950s. I can guarantee you that working a 9-5 job is not even in the same stratosphere of difficulty as raising kids for 18 years. Parenting is a collaborative effort, and I feel horrible for mothers who are forced to do all of the work while their husbands do nothing. 

It’s difficult to leave these relationships because husbands like this are master manipulators. They try to convince their wives that they are the incompetent ones for not doing everything every minute of every day. These men use their jobs as an excuse for not doing anything for their families, and their wives suffer for it.
