There are two lessons you learn in preschool that trump all others: How to call 911 & Stop, Drop, and Roll. Like many 4-year-olds, I took it upon myself to call 911 one night in the basement just to see if it worked. Wouldn’t you know, a police officer showed up at our house, even though I simply called 911 and hung up!

Luckily for me, I have yet to have to call 911 in an actual emergency situation, nor have I ever had to stop, drop and roll. These are things that are hammered into our brains for a reason because someday, we might catch on fire while roaming around UC Berkeley’s campus.
