People Ponder the Pure Weirdness of the TJ Maxx Food Section

I don’t know about you, but I have a pretty fixed idea of the places I buy food from. The grocery store is obviously top of the list, followed by your average 7/11-style businesses. If I’m treating myself, I’ll go to a restaurant or café, and I might go to some kind of fancy chocolate shop if I’m getting a gift. There are many establishments at which we can buy consumable products, but one of the strangest out there has to be TJMaxx. Why, among the no name designer clothes and jazzy homewares, do they sell all of that food?

This was a question posed on TikTok recently, with one user claiming that their food aisle gave them the heebie-jeebies. This led to an extensive debate about being presented with jellybeans and weird pasta shapes, with a range of opinions on display. While many may have consumed TJMaxx food and lived to tell the tale, I don’t think I’m going to be adding them to my grocery shop any time soon.
