A mystery reader is turning the park into a library, one bench at a time.

The books appear on dry mornings, always with a note tucked inside: "Take me, read me, pass me on." Nobody has caught the book fairy in the act, though dog walkers have theories.
The best part is the secondhand conversation happening inside the covers. One thriller has had four different readers leave tiny pencil reviews in the margin. A romance novel currently contains a pressed flower and the words "chapter 12, you're welcome."
