Every Monday since spring, a fresh chalk drawing appears under the bridge on Miller Street: a whale, a garden, an enormous smiling otter. The artist stays anonymous. The drawings last until it rains, which regulars insist is part of the point — you enjoy it while it is here.
Kids have started leaving chalk requests in a jar zip-tied to the railing. This week's request is a dragon eating spaghetti.
