The empty lot that grew 40 friendships

It was a weedy corner block that everyone complained about. Then four neighbours turned up with a wheelbarrow, and now there are tomatoes, a bench, a handwritten swap shelf, and roughly forty people who actually know each other's names.

One of them told us the vegetables are not really the point. The point is that nobody on that street eats dinner alone unless they want to.
