The cyclist who waves at every single dog

Morning commuters know him: the bloke on the red bike who waves at every dog he passes. Not a nod — a full wave, sometimes with a "good morning, sir" for the particularly dignified ones.

Dog owners have started timing their walks to coincide. One terrier reportedly recognises the sound of the bike and begins wagging before it rounds the corner.

He says it started as a way to make his commute nicer. It worked on everyone else too.
