Grandma's first video call went exactly as well as you'd hope
We saw the ceiling fan, both nostrils, and pure joy. Mostly joy.

The family set up the tablet, rang at the agreed time, and spent the first four minutes speaking to Gran's forehead while she narrated her own confusion at full volume. Then — magic — she found the camera, gasped like she had won something, and proceeded to give a full tour of her kitchen to four grandchildren on three continents.
She now calls every Sunday, holds the tablet exactly correctly, and pretends the forehead era never happened.
