He started guitar at 82. He is terrible. He is thrilled.

Ron is 82 and started learning guitar last spring. He knows three chords. He plays them extremely loudly, mostly to his dog, who has developed a thousand-yard stare. His daughter says he practises every morning before the kettle boils.

We love this because nobody told Ron he was too late. He just decided that being bad at something new beats being bored at something old.
