A knitting group has made 1,200 hats for the children's ward.

They meet in a community hall on Tuesdays, drink an unreasonable amount of tea, and knit tiny hats for the children's ward at the local hospital. The count is past 1,200.
Nobody keeps individual scores. Someone brings biscuits. A newcomer who could not knit at all in January now runs the beginners' corner.
