They raised enough for forty bags of dog food. In one afternoon.

Two kids set up a lemonade stand with the sole aim of buying food for the local animal shelter. Word got round the street group chat and the queue went halfway down the block. They sold out twice and had to send Dad for more lemons.
Final tally: forty bags of dog food and two children who now believe they can fix things. Which, honestly, they can.
