The grandad who flips pancakes for the whole street

Every Sunday, the front yard smells like breakfast and everybody is invited.

It started with his two grandkids and a wobbly camping stove. Three years later, Sunday pancakes on Graham's front lawn pull in half the street. There is a toppings table, a roster somebody made without being asked, and a strict rule that the first pancake — the ugly one — goes to the youngest kid present.

Graham insists he is not running anything. He just shows up, flips, and lets the magic of shared breakfast do the rest. The neighbours handle everything else, which is the whole point.

What food tradition would you start on your street?
