One giant pot, twelve letterboxes, and the cosiest delivery route in town.

Every Sunday at 4pm, Mei makes a pot of soup far too large for one household. By 5pm, eleven neighbours have left containers on their doorsteps, and by 6pm those containers are full. Payment is strictly forbidden. Recipe requests are strongly encouraged.
The system runs on a group chat called "Soup Intelligence" whose only other function is alerting everyone when the pot is pumpkin.
Nobody remembers who suggested it. Everybody remembers that it started the winter after a hard year, when feeding each other felt like the obvious thing to do.
